Recreational League

“Taos Youth Soccer League is a recreational league soccer league that has been serving the youth of Taos and the surrounding communities since 1984.  TYSL consists of a 7-8 week season in the spring and fall of each year open to all youth between the ages of 4 and 18. Practices are held one or more times per week at the coaches discretion and games are held on Saturdays at the Ranchos Elementary School fields.

The Fall season begins on the first weekend in September after Labor day.  The Spring season begins around the first weekend of April.  Registration is all done via our online portal.  Please follow the registration link on the home page to register.  TYSL is made possible through volunteer coaches for all age groups.  If you would like to volunteer as a coach or have any questions regarding the league please email TYSL through the contact us form or call President Brandon Rose at 575.779.9315.

Competitive/Tournament Teams

Due to our regional limitations for access to competitive training and play, teams in the following age groups are currently active and seeking interested players who suit the makeup of the existing team.

League Rules and Conduct

NOTICE – TAOS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION RULES & CONDUCT:

My child has registered to play soccer with the Taos Youth Soccer Association and I agree to the following:

  • I will sit at least five yards from the side lines.
  • I will not stand beyond the 18 yard line or behind the goals at either end of the field while play is in progress.
  • I will not harass, threaten, criticize or assault a player, coach or referee before, during or at the conclusion of the game.
  • I am fully aware that verbal and physical abuse of a referee. coach, or player is a crime that is subject to disciplinary action by the Taos Youth Soccer Association and New Mexico Youth Soccer Association and could result in criminal charges being filed against me.
