Business Sponsorships

The Taos Youth Soccer League (TYSL) has long been a positive youth sports league serving youth ages 4-18 in Taos County. TYSL is non-competitive, co-ed, and geared towards player development and enjoyment of the game. Over the past 25 years, TYSL has served thousands of Taos County youth from Dixon, Red River, Angel Fire, Taos Pueblo, Questa, Peñasco, and the greater Taos Area. TYSL “graduates” have gone on to play for all of the local high school teams including the Taos Tigers, Questa Wildcats, Moreno Valley, Pojoaque Elks, and beyond. Several TYSL alumni have played on NCAA collegiate teams.

TYSL is proud of its success, and we would like to invite you to be a partner of our league as we grow and provide more services to our youth. We want to give local businesses and individuals the opportunity to show their support for the positive programs TYSL provides for Taos County Youth.

Specifically, we are looking for support to:

  • Provide free “Soccer After Dark”: skills clinics with Michael Hensley, 3 nights/week all winter (5 months), for all Taos County youth.
  • Provide a similar, free, “Soccer in the Park” program for the spring and summer months for Taos County youth. Many of the area youth come from disadvantaged situations due to a complex variety of social and economic factors. The “Soccer in the Park” and “Soccer After Dark” youth programs help to fill the gap where there is a lack of access to quality sport and educational opportunities.
  • Provide summer camps for Taos County youth at a minimal charge to families.
  • Provide equipment, such as balls and cones, and more coaching clinics for our volunteer coaches.
  • And most importantly, continue to provide 14 to 16 weeks of soccer games, coaching, equipment, jerseys, and fields for approximately 350 youth per year. Currently our league fee is $85 per player for the entire year (spring and fall seasons), making it one of the most accessible soccer leagues in the USA to join.
